You have been asking for it, and we are excited to finally launch it — an audio podcast of our weekly messages. Now you can subscribe to our podcast feed using your favourite podcasting app and the audio from the message is automatically downloaded to your device.
What is a podcast
A podcast is a digital audio file made available on the Internet for downloading to a computer or portable media player. A podcast is typically available as a series. Podcasts range in style from re-broadcasts of radio shows, to a few people with microphones ranting about current events in a funny way. Our podcast is going to be the audio from our weekly messages. New installments of our podcast can be received by subscribing to the podcast’s feed.
How do I get it?
Every phone and every podcasting app is a little different so the steps you do are unique to your situation. Essentially you are locating our podcast and clicking subscribe.
Android users: You need a podcasting app. Here is a great one. If you don’t want to spend $4 bucks then here is a half decent free one. Within the app search for our podcast “SouthRidge Fellowship.” Once you locate our podcast, simply subscribe.
Apple users: If you use iTunes on a computer as your music app you can click here and iTunes will open. If you are on your iPhone right now go to your podcast app and search for “SouthRidge Fellowship” and we will show up. Once you locate our podcast, simply subscribe.
RSS users: If you love your RSS reader and you need the raw feed, you can use the following (remove all spaces): http: // feeds . feedburner . com / SouthRidge Church Langley
