Mexico Day 4

Wes Linde Uncategorized

Hola Amigos!

Another great day in Mexico, minus a few sunburns and everyone is doing well. The house? We got all the walls up, the roof panels and started painting the outside, verde! This was Inez’ choice of colour and she was very pleased when it was going on her new house. Tomorrow we finish the roof and start working on some of the inside things, including camas, counter and pantry in the cocina, paint the rest, and work in the electrical.  The last day of building will be Thursday, hopefully.

The team is very unified and encouraging to  each other.  We went to the women’s shelter and learned about some ministry stuff there, they are currently waiting in prayer for someone to teach them how to make soap…. takers? Michelle J? Ha

We went to the Dulceria tonight, a momentous occasion of the visit and a long time tradition. Dulceria you ask? Just imagine a small warehouse with wall to wall candy!

We got to see Victor at lunch today, who helped us on our last build.

Worship, prayer and sharing is so rich. Every night we are so blessed by the leading of Ben, and the worship leading of our humble team members.

Tomorrow we are attending church at 6pm, where our team is leading worship and I am preaching. Please pray for us!  Our team members who have been before consider this service a highlight of their trip.

Anyway, as always I’m leaving with you some pictures. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!

Adios,

Wes
