We have an entire army of cars ready to go. We will be turning the SouthRidge parking lot into SouthRidge Speedway! There will be an adventure track, a time trial track as well as a family race section.

Dates: Fridays and Saturdays in August, starting on August 14th.
Time slots begin at 5:40 pm on Friday night, Saturday runs from 9 am - Noon and then begins again at 5:40 pm

Ages: This event is for all ages! Our pedal go karts are designed for ages 5-99. For young racers, we have smaller pedal go karts for ages 3+ and passenger seats are available too.

Group Size: You can sign up with 3-6 members of your family, or others who are in your circle.

Cost: These events are entirely by donation, and all proceeds will be going to support the people affected by the Langley Apartment Fire. Donations can be made online or during the event.

What to expect: You and your family (or the group that you’ve signed up with) will be led through our 4-20 minute stations by a member of our Pit Crew. Your experience will begin with a safety orientation and a small activity and then you’ll be ready to take on our adventure course, time trial and speedtrack.

What to bring: Helmets and closed toed shoes are strongly recommended for all participants. Limited number of helmets will be cleaned and available to use.

The SouthRidge Speedway will run rain or shine, so make sure you dress for the weather.

Put on your best race face, and come ready to have lots of fun!

How we're approaching things considering COVID

Each person will choose a clean car on arrival, and that is the car they will use for the entirety of the event. At the end of the event, each car will be thoroughly sanitized before they are used again.

The event has staggered start times for each group which will ensure that social distancing is maintained and that groups will never overlap.

The SouthRidge Speedway is being run entirely outdoors.
Stations are spread out across our church property, and the Langley Christian School parking lot to allow for social distancing.
Masks are not mandatory, but if you would feel more comfortable wearing one you are welcome to.
There will never be more than 50 people on site, including volunteers.

Every participant and volunteer involved will have to sign a COVID screening checklist.

Refreshments will be individually proportioned, and served to you by someone designated to handle the food.
There will be hand sanitizer available at the various locations throughout the event.
Washrooms will be cleaned periodically throughout the event.
