Is there a characteristic of God or name of God in this passage? How does that speak into the meaning of the passage? How does it speak into my life at the moment?

Is there a promise in this passage? How does that promise comfort or empower me?

What can I learn about how God works or thinks, or what God values from this passage?

Is there a word in this passage that I cannot define? What does a bible dictionary say about the meaning of this term? How does that increase my understanding of what God is doing here?

Is there a command to obey? What is God commanding me through these verses?

What speaks to my heart from these verses?

Is there a verse in here that I want to commit to memory? (write it on a sticky note and put it where you will see it often during the day)
