Web Team Langley Church

Back in May SouthRidge took on the task of replenishing much needed supplies for the Salvation Army’s Gateway of Hope.

The Gateway of Hope is located in Langley and represents the Salvation Army’s mission “to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs and be a transforming influence in the people we serve.”

SouthRidge provided
0
pounds of supplies!

These critical supplies are use in their ministry to help people in Langley that are in need of support.

How we did it

We distributed lists on Sunday morning outlining what was needed. Then we went into action buying, finding, and collected the various items. And it wasn’t long before the donations started rolling in — even during the week! Together we donated 415 pounds of clothing, food, and hygiene items.

It is so exciting to see our church community come together and support another awesome program such as the Gateway of Hope. But even more exciting is watching God touch the hearts of people and cause them to take action. God is wonderful!
