Get in the game, get connected

2017 was a crazy year for us at SouthRidge, do you want to know why? There are so many new people! Yes, there have been so many new people that 1 out of 5 people who attend regularly have come since January 2017. For a church that sees 800-900 faces pull through monthly, that is a massive growth for our church and people have commented on how they have noticed all of these new faces. For me being the Associate Pastor in charge of connection ministries, I’ve got my work cut out for me!

We want to celebrate that growth with some connecting events, first starting with our Church Skate on January 21^st, 3:15pm at George Preston Recreation Centre (Facebook event). This is a great way to meet new people, connect with friends already established, and build a better connection between us. We have rented the rink so there is no cost to get on the ice, but if you need rentals for skates or a helmet that’ll be your cost. And who knows? Maybe Rock Woeser will be there?

 

If you can’t or don’t want to skate, feel free to come and hang out, chat and be part of the festivities.
