God loves us so much that he sent Jesus for us. Because of Jesus, we can be with God forever! This incredible gift is a gift that we can show and tell others about so that everyone can follow Jesus

The best gift God ever gave was Jesus. Because of Jesus, it's possible for us to have a relationship with God that will last forever. As we remember the Christmas story, we take time to celebrate the greatest gift the world has ever known

SR Kids is our Children's Ministry focused on Loving God and Changing the World, One Life at a Time.

In our program, we use our SouthRidge Discipleship Rhythms as a foundation for what we believe and what we do together. We desire to create environments where our kids can:

First time? We are excited to welcome your family to our ministry. Come see us on Sunday mornings at our check-in area located just inside the main entrance of the building.

AGE GROUPS

Nursery
Our Nursery is for children ages 6-36 months and is staffed with our volunteer team ready to care for you little ones.
We have a Family Room beside our Nursery for families with infants. This room has a live stream of the service that can be used by families at any time.

Preschool
Our preschool program is for children ages 3-5 and is full of different options for play, activities and stories from the Bible.

Elementary
Our Elementary program is for children in Kindergarten through Grade 5. It consists of age-appropriate small groups, each led by a leader who guides the children through different activities, games, and stories from the Bible.

If your child needs extra support to fully participate in SR Kids, we're here to help! The Thrive team works to ensure that children of all abilities find a place of belonging at SouthRidge. Click here to connect with us!

JON GROCHOWSKI
SR Kids Ministry Director

Having grown up outside the church and coming to faith as a young adult, Jon has developed a passion for seeing kids’ lives transformed by Jesus, just like he has been. Jon has been on staff at SouthRidge for ten years and is married to Shannon. Together they have a full household with their children Abigail, Elizabeth, David & Margaret.

RYLEA VAN RUMPT
SR Kids Coordinator

After participating in 2 summer internships, Rylea has joined the SR Kids team while she completes her education in counseling for children and families. Rylea finds great joy in being able to build relationships with children and helping them experience how much God loves each and every one of them. Rylea is married to Rochus who also volunteers on the SR Kids team.
